Schlub instruments

I've seen Josh Omaits talking about the custom instruments George Schlub is making at his shop nowadays; has anyone played these at all? Would love some unbiased opinions.

I played one of the Altos with the Bb attachment once. The trigger mechanism kept getting caught on the shirt.

Not really on topic, but... George did nice work when he cut and threaded two trombone bells for me. One is a King 4BF that now plays better than it did pre-cut. It speaks faster and (to me) plays with more agility / facility. Previously it spoke with a little more bloom to the way the sound formed.
