I have a  1960 (half-moon inscription). It has inner slide "Connitist"  Still slide, is in the 8 out of 10 (on a good day), in performance.  I know, there is some manageable leakage, on the lower inner.  But using, compromised inners will damage the outters...eventually.

So, replace with new Selmer/Conn inners, or alternate manufacturer? Maybe tighten up, the tolerances. What say the professional techs.
