FS: Getzen 1050 trombone -SOLD

Post by Klimchak » Thu Jul 30, 2020 9:03 am

Getzen 1050 Trombone in excellent condition. .508” bore lightweight brass slide with great action and no wear to the inners. 8” yellow brass bell. Everything is excellent other than a small crease in the bell rim that occurred during shipment to me. The slide and bell section are compatible with small Conn trombones. I was mainly using the slide on a 6H bell section to have a .508” Conn 6H. Comes with original case. SOLD

How was the slide on the 6h bell? You're selling it, so it probably wasn't mind blowing. I was interested in doing the same thing. Does the bell lock screw in as well?

This slide and my 6H bell was my preferred set-up. But, I just picked up a 79H, and this slide gets the 6H very close in territory to the 79H, but without the attachment possibilities. I like this bell section as well, but I am very comfortable with the 6H bell. This bell section is a little bigger sounding and a bit more modern sounding than my 6H.
