SOLD - Good Playing Utility Bach 36B

Post by SoVTTb » Fri May 15, 2020 6:22 pm

Hello all,

I have a Bach 36B for sale, post Corp era, that plays well and definitely has some cosmetic "character".

I played this horn on a number of gigs and it did does a great job in all the settings I've used it in, as you would expect from a good medium-bore Bach. The slide is nice and quick, the inners don't show any wear, and the outer has a nice shiny new crook on it. The valve has got good compression, and the old-style linkage works well too.

It definitely is rough around the edges cosmetically, and I got it a couple years ago (from a reputable used shop) as a horn for those gigs that I would be self conscious bringing something too shiny to! Check out the pictures to see the lacquer wear (considerable), dings (numerous, but not deep), and the bell repair evidence.

Pictures Here

I'm looking to get $850 for it, which includes shipping CONUS and the case (solid, but could use a handle). If it would sweeten the deal for a student trombonist or bass doubler, I'd be happy to include a new tub of Superslick and a Yamaha 12c too.

Let me know if you have interest, offers, or questions either via PM on here or at my (updated) linked email.

Best,
RG

A bump and price drop on this horn. $850 OBO shipped to CONUS! Also, I have a larger (than 12C) Yamaha mouthpiece that I'll include if desired - a 51 I believe.
