B&M Bass Sackbut + Case

Post by thatme » Mon Mar 23, 2020 7:00 pm

I picked this up a few months ago, but I’m coming to terms with the fact that I don’t really have an outlet to learn or play this, so I’m offering up my Bass Sackbut for sale. It looks nearly new - no dents or dings, slide is in great shape, some very minor lacquer wear here and there, but it looks nearly new and has been tucked away in a closet for years (nearly 30 before it came to me).

It’s branded Giardinelli, but was made by B&M in the 70s. The B&M tenor sackbuts don’t have the best reputation, but the bass ‘buts are thought to be nice players, and this one is no exception. It seems to play really well, and includes a case but NO mouthpiece. Willing to ship in US only (sorry int’l sackbut enthusiasts). I expect shipping to be about $50 via UPS.

Certainly open to a local sale (Denver) if anyone happens to be nearby.

New price: $1000 OBO
