I'm looking for a colorful bell flare to put on an 8h frame. Doesn't have to be a Conn, just something that fits. I'm putting together a bell section to go with my 547 and 525 88h slides. This will be a horn for small orchestra, trombone quartet and church playing (anything but bigband that doesn't need a trigger). Kind of a suped up 78h.

Just need the flare. Doesn't need to be perfect, but should be in reasonable playing condition (no patches, cracks or holes). No student models. Something perfect would be a MV 36 bell, for example, although a 78h bell would also be fine. I'd like something lightweight, so no Edwards 20g bazookas.

Lets see what's out there! Thanks in advance.

I have a special order Bach 34 flare from the 80s that has never been mounted. It’s raw brass and has no dents. Let me know if you are interested. Greg
