NOTE: If you want to PM or e-mail another member, you can only do so after having two approved posts. Additionally, if you wish to receive e-mails, please update your profile to include your e-mail address. This is a more secure way of handling your e-mail. The classifieds are open to the major search engines and it's very easy for a bot to parse something like 'email at provider dot com' but without authentication and two approved posts, outsiders cannot see the e-mail you have in your profile.

TRADED! For Sale: FRANKENBONE! (Bach, King, Eastman parts)

:x Sometimes... you spend more time wondering if you could, then worrying whether you should...

Seriously, this was my first attempt from years ago at teaching myself to solder. It’s an old Eastman medium bore horn fitted with a Bach 42 valve section and the bell off of a King 605. It doesn’t play fabulous, but it’s playable. The slide is pretty bad. It moves. Better if you lube it up real well. The valve section was NOS, unlacquered and works well. There is a small flat spot on top of the F tuning slide. I tried to get it in the picture.

Buy it for a novelty. Buy it for parts and put that Bach section on something worthy. Give it to your kid to use for marching band so he doesn’t bash up that $2500 Xeno you just bought him. Do whatever you want with it. Just buy it.
