WTB : Leadpipe .508 for Yamaha YSL-691

Recently got a 691, which I really like, however it did not come with extra leadpipes and the current Yamaha #2 is corroded inside and out.

I'm keen to buy any Yamaha .508 leadpipes that are "no longer needed" - perhaps from someone who upgraded. Such things are impossible to source down here in New Zealand. Kanstul H8 even ? I'm dreaming, I know...

I play an 891z, and Kanstul used to make a Herrick H8 copy. I thought about it, but never bought, and they are discontinued I believe.

Perhaps you could get an 891Z lead pipe from Yahama. I recommend the NY pipe as almost everyone uses it including me.

Fwiw, Yamaha pipes mostly fit in shires threads. The opposite should have a similar fit I'd imagine. Fwiw!

Do you know if the NY pipe resembles any of the pipes that came with a 691?

I have no idea, and I don't know if the threads would match. It is a Yamaha .508 pipe though.
