How do you keep the Music Playing - George Roberts

Hi Y'all

I was wondering if anyone could help me out on this one.

There is a Youtube of George Playing this beautiful ballad, it's an amazing arrangement which George must
have got the backing track from somewhere.

I'm hoping the Link I've copied works so you can have a listen, mind the audio quality isn't great but you get
most of it.



So if this link works, does anybody out there know where I might be able to get a copy of this version.

To me, it sounds a lot like Joe Parnello arrangement recorded by Frank Sinatra on his album l. a. is my lady.


Not idea where you could find a copy, though.

I did find a recording of what sounds like the same arrangement done by a singer named Nicky DePaola.

Apologies for my delayed response, but a BIG thank you for your feedback as it turns out the Nicky Depalola
version is the exact one George used so hats off to you for pulling this one straight out of the bag for me.

My next quest is how to get in touch with Nicky to ask him for a copy of the backing track, or try and download
this track into the Backing tracks website I use to attempt to remove the Vocals which is easier said than done
but at least I have a good strarting point thanks to you.

Next time I'm in California I'll be sure to buy you a Pint of your favourit tipple.

Sadly, I didn't. I never moved in those circles and I joined Bones West after George left.

Sorry to hear that. But still it must be nice being able to play with Bones West.

I did manage to but a CD copy of the Album you kindly found, it's in the post from the US.
I just need to have the vocals removed when it arrives and hopefully be able to do my own recording.
