Colours on mouthpieces are a great idea for recruiting children's to play. But for us well grown ups I recommend the Bach Mt Vernon 1 1/2g wich give us the real opportunity to make real colours to our own sound and musicality! Ooh I miss the old 1 1/2g tread in the old forum. I did write some stupid and some OK things but Chris (Blast) always was the calm, reasonable man in the room. Met him some years ago and listen his good London dialect and his playing was so inspiring.

This is a really interesting approach as a band director. The choosing of musical instruments is always a difficult time in the classroom. I wonder how much time and material this took.
