Conn Loyalist site going away?

Post by Chazzer69 »

I think this is the most appropriate spot for this. I saw mention of this in a FB group and thought I would share it. This is such a valuable resource. Hopefully someone tech oriented would be willing to work with Christine to at least preserve the info somewhere accessible. It doesn't sound like she has a plan to move it elsewhere.

At the very least it'll still be accessible on the Wayback Machine, but it definitely needs to be preserved.

Perhaps I'll put all of it over on my website or on a new website, with permission from Christine of course.

Someone needs to step up and host this. The TC people should be able to do it.

Is this a pile of static HTML? In the mean time, you might be able to notify someone at the Internet Archive – https://help.archive.org/help/archive-whole-web-sites/ – but it might be a bit late for that; there's also the Archive Team for this kind of thing: https://wiki.archiveteam.org/
Update: ah never mind - some good folks have sorted it, I didn't notice the date of the thread.

Circling back to this, has anyone reached out to Christine about porting her site over and hosting it elsewhere? I know the capability exists to easily copy it..............which I may or may not have already done... ;) :geek: .

Christine updated the main page to point to a mirror at the Bach Loyalist.
