Nancie Banks

This inquiry is for my own curiosity. Does anyone know much about Nancie Banks? I pulled out of my CD collection the album "Nancie Banks Orchestra - Waves Of Peace". Nancie is the vocalist, conductor, and composer/arranger.

There are liner notes that gives a musical resume, and some generic tidbits about the tunes on the album; and that's about it.

My opinion of the album: good. Nancie's writing is very solid, the band is good, the recording is good. A fun listen. For my preferences, I like most "Danglin' Digits". Biggest criticism: the trombones sound kind of flat. Not pitch-wise. Color-and-articulation-wise.
