Finale 24 freezes during startup

I was writing a transposition and saved. When I went to add to it my Finale wouldn't open.

Uninstalled and reinstalled and there is no change. Luckily my old Printmusic finished it.

Anyone else have similar problems? I'm running Windows 11 Pro.

Weird, now it works. Go figure.

Intermittent software failing to launch and then working sounds like a firewall or malware false detect happened. In Windows (10 or 11) you might be able to find a firewall block in the Event Viewer; if you have other malware protection installed, that will have its own interface, obviously.

My guess is there was some sort of license server issue. And with Finale being past end-of-life, they waited until Monday morning to reboot the server.
