Brings a whole new meaning to doing a gig with Le Pétomane.
That brings me to thinking: what kinds of things can we as brass instructors do to help students prepare for these kinds of events in a performance?

No there has to be some kind of cut off point. You sometimes see in live performances where soloists have instruments break or other strange things happen. Heaven forbid someone has a heart attack. I'm sure it's happened and some people on stage try to keep performing while someone dies (I'm sure they are not completely aware of what is happening).AndrewMeronek wrote: Sat Dec 13, 2025 10:52 amThe show MUST go on!!!harrisonreed wrote: Sat Dec 13, 2025 5:03 am If there is a biohazard on stage you can just get up and get away from it.
