Suddenly, I am now getting inundated with supposed replies on threads I have never made any comments to, mostly from instruments for sale, and I can't seem to figure out how turn this off (or how it got turned on in the first place...).

Anything to do on my end?

If you click on the "bell" / notifications icon and hit "settings" you can choose which items you want to be notified about. I haven't noticed any changes and haven't made any changes to the notification system. It's possible there's a bug going on somewhere, is anyone else running into this issue?

I have the opposite problem - I no longer get any email notifications. My board preferences still show email selected on the same event types, so I'm not sure what changed. Probably unrelated, but I've also noticed that the last couple of new posts I've made do not show up under "Your posts" for me.

Oo that's a good callout and helps narrow the issue down. I might know what's up with it.

Thanks, an inadvertant subscription on my part!

Yeah I don't receive any alerts from this site at all anymore. Haven't since 3 July.
