For what it's worth though, the Octet stuff is actually pretty easy to transcribe. Although I've admittedly only transcribed the Night in Tunisia from the soundtrack, the way that Kai's part is mixed, he sticks out like a sore thumb in stereo at 50% speed, so it's really easy to figure out the note of the top voice.Artwork – Arnold Roth

You can buy some of those here. I've transcribed about 20 pieces for a concert I played a month or two ago together with Klaus Heidenreich from NDR Bigband. They are pretty easy to transcribe actually, so I decided to not spend as much money as I would possibly get for the gig![]()
