Where to buy: Incentive Spirometer
Does anyone know where to buy an adjustable flow-oriented incentive spirometer for buzzing? I just spent a few hours trying to find my old Portex Inspiron but am concerned about what would happen if this was damaged. I was able to find something from a military surplus shop on eBay but nothing else. There are some for sale at hickeys.com too but seemingly not adjustable. Is anyone currently manufacturing one?

Moved
I got two incentive spirometers after surgeries. I also inherited one from my mother-in-law. Don't know where I stashed them, though. Cost was pretty high for the surgeries they resulted from. Have a look on Amazon. Lots of this stuff shows there. Costs ranged from $15 to $45.

All the stuff I was able to find on Amazon either has multiple balls (you lose the ability to monitor for “clicks” as the ball touches the top of the tube when working on consistency of air through articulations) or is volumetric so there is no click to be had in the first place
and thank you for moving!!!

All of mine are volumetric. I used them to mark my progress after a surgery from barely 1 liter to over 2.5 liters. Still low compared to a lot the younger players, but not bad for a 70+ year old.

Check medical supply stores. Most around here carry a variety of types.

I've had mine for years and someone told me they're more difficult to find and have gotten to be expensive. Surprise surprise. I'd say wherever you can find one grab it.
