Gig bag for bass trumpet

Post by Macbone1 »

I'm considering a soft gig bag for my Holton Bb bass trumpet. Does anyone have any practical ideas?
Closest size and shape I could find was for alto sax.

You might try looking at some of the "tactical yoga bags" on the market.

If it has comparable dimensions to the Conn bass trumpet, the Cronkhite alto trombone Gigbag (obviously without the slide compartment) could be a good, but somewhat expensive option.

Back when Hornguys used to sell Lidl rotary valve bass trumpets, they came with a Cronkhite gig bag.

I have one of these and can take measurements, if you want.

I would strongly suggest taking measurements. My B&M piston valve bass trumpet didn't come anywhere near fitting in the Cronkhite bag for the Lidl.
