Playing with dentures

I recently received a full upper plate. I have no problem playing, other than on Trombone. The mouthpiece presses the plate down and of course that blocks the air. It doesn't happen with Trumpet or Tuba mouthpieces. One is too small to do it, the other big enough that it doesn't do it. If anyone can give me advice, I'd greatly appreciate it.
