Cheap Horn Shipping!

After paying way too much to send horns and parts to various brass techs and buyers, someone told me to try shippo.com.

I can highly recommend it, shipping a horn to Dallas from Michigan today via UPS, but through Shippo, for $43, instead of the roughly $85 it would have cost going through UPS directly.

I almost never use UPS, but when I do I go directly to a UPS distribution facility, and I think it's about the same difference if you're comparing to a UPS retail store.

I've used pirateship.com a couple of times to pay for UPS shipping. (I learned about that site by postings on this site.) It is a lot cheaper than purchasing from a UPS store. I don't know how it compares to purchasing from a UPS distribution facility or from shippo.com.
