Weissenborn bassoon studies?

Post by Bach5G »

Anyone delve into these?

I only just heard of them. Available in IMSLP.

Bassoon music will provide a lot of challenges for a trombone player. The instrument's characteristics are something you won't find playing trombone.

That said, there's nothing wrong with playing the music. If it was really useful, I'm sure by now we'd all be playing it. Still, for the price it's worth a try.

I've spent time with them. Great for developing a wide tonal range, as they utilize both the low register to pedal Bb and the high register to at least C.
