Six time Grammy Award winner, died from Prostate cancer. Noticeably weak last time I saw him a couple years ago. Once he got going the old pro didn’t his adoring fans down.

I played with him in Atlanta on his Pearls tour mid 90’s. At Chastain Park. The great Gil Goldstein conducted. It was a great show. Very good to the band. Played his a## off on the gig.
