Arrangements for piano, cello & trombone?

Post by Dries »

Hello,

Do you know if there exist classical compositions who are arranged for piano, trombone & cello?

Thanks for your answers.

I don't know about anything specific but what you COULD do is to look for earlier music where you can find stuff written for violin, sackbut and cembalo (playing basso continuo), i've heard there's stuff for that.

I believe the Peters Edition of the Marcello sonatas comes for cello (played on tbn), piano and continuo (played on cello or bassoon). I've played several of them and they work very well

If you know a clarinetist, there's a large amount of 20th (and 21st) century music for that quartet including a nice piece by Denisov based on the DACH Shostakovich theme.
