Albinoni Adagio for Trombone Quartet, arr. Ralph Sauer

Post by bobacrosy »

Albinoni Adagio in g minor. Another arrangement recorded for Ralph Sauer in a 2012 recording session attended by a group of mostly Phoenix and LA musicians. Tromboninsts are Josh Bledsoe and Seth Bartschi on tenor trombone, Gordon Cherry and Dick Strobel on bass trombone. Recorded in Hollywood, California by Sonny Ausman, 2nd trombone of the LA Phil.

Thanks for this. I'd forgotten that this was ersatz Albinoni!

Really nice recording, thanks for sharing!

Somehow this piece attracts trombonists and it does actually work really well.
