Upcoming Shows in SF and PA!

Post by WilliamLang »

Hi all!

I'll be having a busy couple of weeks touring with my pianist Anne Rainwater starting next week in San Fransisco and then the following week around Philadelphia. There will be some fund programs and four world premieres for trombone and piano, and it'd be lovely to run into some forum members!

March 15th - San Fransisco State University, 1 pm at Knuth Hall

March 17th - Old First Concerts in San Fransisco, 8 pm (and live streaming as well!)

March 19th - Mosswood Concerts in Oakland at 7 pm

March 22nd - Haverford, PA

March 23rd - Delaware County Community College, PA

March 24th - St. Joseph's College, PA at 7:30 pm

The world premieres will be:

Triptych on Flying by Suzanne Sorkin

and in SF we will also be playing the following pieces on different shows:
Arvo Part - Fratres
Arvo Part - Spiegal im Spiegal
Scott Wollschleger - Between Breath
Quinn Mason - Horn Sonata
Anne Hege - Boom Boom Terror, Boom Boom Bliss
Alex Temple - all we could see from the window was water
Jeremy Howard Beck - anything you are attached to, give that
Maurice Ravel - Piece en forme de Habenera
Johannes Brahms - E minor Cello Sonata
Robert Schumann - Romanzen
Amy Beach - Romance for Violin and Piano

I'll try to catch at least one of your bay area shows. I really enjoyed your performance at Maybeck Studio in Berkeley a few years ago.
