Hello all, I'm currently a high school senior in Central Illinois who's going for a music performance/engineering dual degree in college. I play a Conn 66H for my concert band, and an old Bach starter trombone for Jazz/Marching. (I don't know what kind it is, but I've had it since middle school.)
I've been lurking on here for a month or two, so I figured I'd make a post and properly introduce myself.
Pleased to meet you!
Hi from Illinois!

Re: Hi from Illinois!
Welcome to the group. I put my trombone down while I studied engineering as an undergraduate. I picked it up again a couple years after graduating when I stumbled across a local community band (nobody told me as a high school student that there were ways to keep playing without become a professional or a music teacher - both of which are vocations I lack the skills and temperament for). I encourage you to keep your feet in both worlds.
