And an E-flat piece for your alto trombone!
No, if you get Parduba double-cup mouthpieces you'll need only two of them.Kingfan wrote: Fri Nov 20, 2020 1:25 pm My bass trombone is Bb/F/Gb/D. Do I need four mouthpieces when I play?![]()

I had no idea how I was going to do four mouthpieces. I thought I was going to have to get a four into one leadpipe adapter and move around like a harmonica player, but hadn't figured out how to cover the three mouthpieces I wasn't playing at the time. All I need now is a two into one adapter with a valve so I can switch on the fly. You are a genius!
There's another one for the "new gizmos" thread: a mouthpiece with adjustable depths that compensates on the fly.Kbiggs wrote: Fri Nov 20, 2020 3:59 pm A small tenor player needs a mouthpiece with 7 different cup depths. If you have an F valve, you will need 13 different cups. Bass players with independent valves need 24 cups, plus an additional 2 for high G and F#.

You can practice.
