Shires Twin Valve vs Axial Flow Valve

Any thoughts on the differences in sound and playability between these two valves? I used to play the axial flow so I know how that plays, but I haven’t tried the twin valve.

They are familiar, blow wise, just having a bit of time on the twin.

My friend is test-driving the twin rotor and says it's immediately evident that the straight and F side have a more similar feel than anything else he's played (which is a lot).

I've heard similar reports from two trusted colleagues who have tried it. Very even "feel" to the blow between Bb and F sides. Not as "wide" of a feel as a Thayer or Hagmann.

Just got to try a twin valve today. It’s the best valve I’ve ever played. Going to get this valve very soon! Amazingly Centered, smooth, and open.
