I remember stumbline upon this great website that had just about every trombonist on there with a little bio and in alphabetical order, but now I can't seem to find it! Does anyone think they know which one this might be?

I believe you are thinking of Rene Laanen's site. The address is

Very informative website. It lists something like 4000 trombonists, and also has links to manufacturers, repair places, etc.
