Leadpipe threads for Edwards bass

I have a friend that is willing to give me an extra 50 leadpipe they have. However, it is a solder leadpipe, that wouldn't work in my edwards slide obviously. Does anyone know where I can buy the threads so that I can solder it on to the leadpipe?

Ben Hanssen and Dan Oberloh both will put threaded rings on leadpipes.
