Does anyone know if there's any measurable difference between Hammond mouthpieces with smaller or larger engraving?

I have several 12Ls and 12XLs from both eras. Both seem the same to me.

My 19BL and 19BXL from different eras feel slightly different, but it's been a while since I was playing those full time.

I have 10ML large shank with small engraving, 10M large shank and 10S with large engraving.
10ML has wider rim than 10M and 10S.

You should email Hammond directly. I'm sure he'd tell you what changes were made. I'm curious to know what he says!

For me it does not matter what he did change. I love all these mouthpieces. I want to order a 10M small shank for my Bach 36.
