What is this horn modelled on?

It looks like it`s designed to be a larger version of the .500 bore Urbie Green Copy

It is not a larger bore "Urbie".  It's more like a Bach 36 cleaned up a bit.

Mostly cosmetic changes. For example, solid bell braces to eliminate the counterweight, a curved hand brace, a gold brass bell and a double radius bottom bow. Maybe it was a poor choice of phrase.  When you look at the horns side by side, IMO, the Wessex has a neater look.

Thanks for clearing that up , is the hand slide the same width as the 36?

I will answer the 2 questions here...   Yes, there is a version with an F-attachment.(PB/F 525)  The slide is the same width as the Bach 36.(wide)
