Ever wonder what the Star Wars Throne Room scene would sound like with trombone choir?

No? Didn't think so... Image

Well here it is anyway with the closing track from my new recording, "A Fall From Light to Dark."

I don't know what's more amazing; that you did all the parts or that you did the whole production in your living room!

I think I'm going to need a bigger living room.

After buying the "A Fall From Light To Dark" download (easy to do!), I think I'm going to need a bigger stereo!

...Geezer

Loving that G at the end! Is that on alto or soprano? I'm not sure which one would be easier...

That is incredible. What I'm wondering is how you got the soprano trombones to sound so much like trombones instead of trumpets!

It actually... is both! The high G at the end is doubled, one on alto, one on soprano.

It really has to with 3 things:

1.) The bell flare is not as cylindrical as a trumpet bell

2.) There are no valves so the air has very little turbulence

3.) My mouthpiece is very unusual. It's a trombone rim on a trumpet cup
