Susmayer-Barenreiter has no marking over the eighth notes in the 5th and 6th bars but the eighths through bars 8-16 are marked legato.
Do you articulate bars 5 and 6 (and bar 28)differently?

Mozart wrote the trombone part only up to the first beat of measure 18, and only put slurs over measures 15, 16, and 17. These slurs are however phrasing slurs, rather than articulations. So you have to figure out the articulations from the music itself, not from any markings, editorial or not.
