Duetto from Stravinsky's Pulcinella Suite

Post by whitbey »

I have heard this before. Just heard it and called the radio station to get the name.

I tried to download on IMSLP but it is only a score.

Anyone have the trombone part with the solo?

I believe it's still under copyright, so IMSLP won't have it.

I remember seeing the key part of the solo in an excerpt book; probably "20th Century Excerpts for Trombone".

I figured it out from a recording and used it to demonstrate trombone once. It's a nice solo.

Worst case, download the score and write out the part.

I don't have the book in front of me, but I think it may be in Megumi Kanda's excerpt book, "The 100."
