Hi everyone, Neo has been busy so I'll go ahead and do the write up for what I did over the weekend:

1) Fixed the e-mail issue finally. Currently the email address is trombonechat@mailfence.com (I had previously incorrectly indicated mailfetch, which is.. something totally different). If you receive a signed (TLS certificate) from mailfence.com such as the attached picture, that's us. We are working on getting a domain email account at the moment, so that in the future emails will arrive from an @trombonechat.com address.

In the meantime, if you send e-mails to [email protected], one of us will respond to it.

2) "Forum Forgets Me!"
There were several causes for this.

a) The old site was still up, but redirecting. Now that it's been almost two months, we disabled it. It used to forward to the new IP address, but the forwarding was confusing some browsers. So the site is giving you a "down message" from our old host, SiteGround, reset your cache/cookies/DNS settings and give it another shot.

b) Domain specific cookies. Previously the setting was set so that "http" and "https" protocols were two different sessions. Ergo, if someone linked to "http://trombonechat.com/blahblahblah" and you were connected with https, it would kick you out.

3) "Secure" Connections Only
Related to 2b, we are now redirecting all HTTP traffic to the secure HTTPS version. I got most of the rules working but there are still some exceptions. If you come across a link someone made that is something like "HTTP://trombonechat.com/blahblahblah" it might not always redirect properly. If you come across one of those, just mention it and we can edit the link. I'll work on the rule set but I'm not particularly worried about it sine you can't authentcate now without being on HTTPS in the first place now.

As always, let us know if you have issues and now, as mentioned above, you can also email us at [email protected] and the problem will get seen more quickly and hopefully be solved!

-Matt
