ISO DEG Trombone Collar Saver

DEG products are as rare as hen's teeth, so I thought I'd ask in the group.
Anybody have any of these they'd sell?

I've found them to be very hard to find indeed. I used some 1/2" diameter vinyl tubing (slit the long way). Some others have used coiled telephone cords and leather covers.

I use cork bicycle handlebar wrap, and take it up the main brace a little to cushion my thumb. Lots of stuff you can use. I've also used drum stick wrap or tennis racket grip wrap.

I looked for some similar tubing at Lowe's but found none. I've tried the Protect wrap but it's too big and moves around on my peashooters, plus I don't like how it looks. That's why I prefer the clear tubing.

I got lucky on the tubing since I worked in a chemical lab and we kept the stuff around. One brand was called Tygon. I've also seen the clear stuff in auto parts stores. If the 1/2" is too small, sometimes the 5/8" works better.

Thanks! I'll head to NAPA then.

Bring your horn into the store... and tell them you're trying to replace the existing horn on your car with this "upgrade!"

I used to use Slide Savers and cut the length to fit the gooseneck.

Search https://www.hickeys.com for "Standard Slide Savers"

Me too. I seem to recall it worked out less expensive too as I did several horns in one go.

Thanks to all for the tips.
I tried the hardware store tubing, but it's too thick and smells AWFUL.
Just ordered the Slide Savers from Hickey's.
