WTB: Something 1.5Gish (for King Duo Gravis)

Post by gdoug » Tue May 14, 2019 12:04 pm

I need a new mouthpiece for my King Duo Gravis. I'm currently stuck with something way too big.

The gold standard is MV Bach 1.5G. I'd be happy with the Faxx copy or anything close that'll sit reasonably well in the weird taper many DG's have, including mine.

I'll pay shipping costs to Canada.

Not for sale, but I've started using a Rath 1 1/2 that I had lying around. It seems to fit and the dullness I found using it with other horns seems to balance the edge of the DG.

And there's always Doug Elliot.

I play a LB 110 k k8k DE on my DG. Prefer it over Bach 1.5g.

I’ve got a Yamaha 59L (their 1 1/2) that I’ll give you for the cost of shipping.

(Edited to correct the Yamaha number)

If you're interested in picking up a Elliott setup let me know. I have a MB 108 lexan rim, J cup, J8 and J8.5 shanks (I think I have the only one) I might be tempted in parting with.
