FS:Bach 42G* bell (the Friedman model)

Post by leahyzbones » Thu Oct 15, 2020 12:09 pm

Taken off a Bach “Symphonic Gold” tenor trombone (aka the Friedman model). This is a gold brass 42 bell which is lighter in weight than standard. As I understand it, it is a copy of Jay Friedman’s MV gold brass bell in terms of weight, alloy and rim wire. In great condition with some lacquer scorch marks from where it was removed from the Thayer valve section. Bell only. $800obo. Shipping at cost. PM for pictures and additional information. Thanks!

I am playing a 42G* trigger horn and love the bell. It would be great to build a straight 42 with the 42G* bell,
but I can't quite "swing" it now. A neat opportunity for someone.
