FS: Conn 48HLW - 1959 **SOLD**

Up for sale is a 1959 Conn 48HLW "Connstellation". Nickle-silver "Electro-D" bell, lightweight slide, 8" bell .500 bore.

The photos tell the story of the condition of the horn. Misc. surface scratches from use. Tuning slide has a dent, as seen in the photos. The slide does have the typical wear on the inner slide stockings which I captured in the photos. Feels like there is a dent in fourth position in the upper-outer slide making the action an 8/10. Original case included. All latches are functional.

This horn plays identical to my mid-60s 48H. Very responsive to the performer. Great for jazz of course, but I've also used mine for band and chamber orchestra.

Price is $995, which includes shipping in the United States, payment by PaypaI. International buyers welcome! I will sell internationally but would need to calculate shipping cost first. I have ways of keeping customs fees low. PM me with questions you may have, want additional photos, or interested in purchasing. Thanks!
