FS: Brad Close 36/42 Seamed Copper Tuning Slide

Post by Mv2541 » Sat Feb 20, 2021 12:20 am

Hi everyone!

I bought this because I really wanted to see what adding more red to my 36 would do, but I actually prefer the regular tuning slide. This Brad Close version adds some malleability and a really interesting element to the sound, but is also more open than the normal 36/42 tuning slide. For me it is too open and I just like the tighter blow of the normal one. Perhaps if you want to free up a 36/42 (with a rotor?) without loosing the slotting of the normal leadpipe this could be a good fit. Looking for $300 plus shipping.

Being super specific this version has a cross brace and the legs are made of what appears to be yellow brass.
