Music stores

Post by Bassbonechandler »

Does anyone know of any good music stores with decent selection not super far from Indiana? Dillons music is great but that's an 11 hour drive

You're sort of close to M&W, Edwards and BAC factories and the Wessex US distributor (in Michigan I believe). You wouldn't be able to try different brands but could probably try within each of those if you were interested in any of those.

Are there any good stores in Ohio or Illinois?

Best I can suggest is DJ Kennedy who lives in Chester IL and has a house full (literally) of used trombones. Three's also Acme Music across the river from him.

Woodwind and Brasswind used to have a store in Michigan, but it got closed and they went to strictly mail order.
