nice playing. differences between the royer and the se are pretty subtle, but the bricasti reverb is the real star :)

I agree with the comments above.
ALMOST tempted to pull the audio into Audacity and look at the FFT difference between them. My old ears had a MUCH harder time differentiating once the reverb was on. Since MOST live recording will have at least SOME reverb, it was good to have those to compare.

Even without the reverb, "subtle" is just the right word for the differences.

Were those big boxes bass traps? I was surprised you did not have more standing wave problems with the contrabass. I'd find any comments you have about mitigating that in smaller spaces interesting.
