Microphone brand worth checking out: Maono
Hi all,
Thought i'd share a relatively hidden gem, which is the microphone brand: Maono.
I bought one for nearly $27 and has the quality of a typical $150 microphone (I know this because I own a $400 microphone [SE-VR1]). There are between 4-8 different models ranging from $15-$90, but you get the quality of something much more than you pay for.
There are many different YouTube videos showing you how they sound:
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... icrophones
https://www.maono.com/
I am in no way paid to promote this brand, it's just something I tried that's well worth looking into.
I'm also happy to help my trombone colleagues during the extremely annoying pandemic.
Take care,
- Brian Johnston

PM461TR which went from $27 to $30. Good little microphone that I use for traveling (online lessons etc..) Very portable. Great sound for next to nothing in price.

I found a ribbon mic on Monoprice for $99 the other day. Ordered it, but haven’t gotten it yet.

I picked up one of the Maono mics... I have to agree, very good for the cost!
