Tenor horn case suggestions

Post by dukesboneman »

I have an Oval Shaped Tenor Horn that (for some reason) I`ve been using a lot lately.
It has no case. I`d like to get a case / gig bag for it without braking the bank
Any suggestions?
It`s the horn on the far right , for size comparison

I got a protec recording/front bell euphonium gig bag for one I had and it worked pretty well. Not perfect, but pretty cheap and carries it.

I got a gig bag for mine about 15 years ago in Vienna for like $150. Unfortunately these are not common in the US. So you're gonna have to pay a lot to get one shipped here...unless you happen to be going to German-speaking Europe any time soon.

The big online retailer in Germany is Thomann. They have an oval baritone kit that says it includes a case: https://www.thomannmusic.com/thomann_ep ... on_set.htm

Maybe they would sell one of the cases separately?
