I'm looking into doing some portable gigs by myself with backing tracks. I'd probably want to use my phone or computer to play the tracks, and maybe use a mic on my horn to run into a small amp. I'd want it portable enough so that if/when the authorities kick me out of a place, I can hoof it in a single trip.
Anybody want to recommend a small amp for this purpose?

The little Rolands are great, and actually sound pretty good.

My favorite was a dual 6.5"? Maybe 5"? that they don't make anymore, powered or battery, probably closest to the new Cube Street?
Nothing on a battery is going to sound great, but they were as good as you're going to get.

A sax friend has this batter powered amp, and it's pretty decent:

I use , to great effect, a powered monitor with Blue tooth capabilities .
It`s light weight, great sound and if you`re using your phone for tracks the blue tooth would be perfect
