The perfect practice mute

Post by skeletal »

I saw this (http://saxophone-mute.com/) for tenor and alto sax. Could/does something similar for trombone exist? A hard plastic shell lined with acoustic foam that goes over the bell, maybe you'd play it with an ergobone .

I’m considering purchasing one if/when the pandemic winds down.

The problem would be clearance between the slide and the rim of the bell
