M/K Bach MV Bass Leadpipe

Post by BassFace »

Thoughts on this leadpipe? To me its not really like a standard Bach leadpipe in any way but does have a nice ring and purity compared to other option

"Which" standard Bach leadpipe are you comparing it to? The original that was measured for the M/K 50 pipe is a very fine MV piece.

I have one in and Edwards slide on my Bach bass bone, and this pipe works better on this horn than any other I've tried. It seems to play open enough for me without becoming hard to play as some very open pipes are. Personally I like that the resistance of the Bach with this pipe seems similar to my Shires bass with a #2 pipe, which I also like and play a lot.
