Bach 42 Slide Crook on 36

Can anyone tell me if this can be easily done? I imagine it would widen the slide.

That depends on your definition of "easily"! Bear in mind that the 42 and 50 are the same crooks, so you'd be putting a bass crook on the slide, in addition to widening it. A wider, but large bore tenor crook, like the Shires TW47 might be a better choice.
