Any linkage oil will work.

With nylon sockets, I have found that the thicker viscosity lubricants work best. Sometimes I even use Schilke tuning slide grease or the Selmer "pink stuff" tuning slide grease.

Heavy grease. Wheel bearing grease type consistency would work well.

Tuning slide grease + hetman heavy ball joint oil. Those nylon sockets just get really loose and worn out though, so even that will only keep them quiet for a short time. You'll go through a lot of grease.
